We save old art from distressed frames, old cracked glass and damp-stained mounts - refresh them with newer (but still of suitable vintage age) refurbished frames and new mounts - giving great art a new lease of life - conserving them for the nation and giving customers a great bargain- we don’t charge extortionate gallery prices for our conserved work!

Everyone should be able to buy at at sensible prices.

We also like to promote current artists and their work, either through our own website here if you are a maritime/coastal artist, or through our joint project with www.britishartstudios.co.uk - to promote UK resident contemporary artists of all genres.

This one came to us looking like this (left) ...through the murk, grime and dreadful old painted frame, we could see a painting of really lovely quality.

Once we had been able to access the back and dismantle the work from its casing and mount we could see it was a real beauty of a 1909 watercolour, signed by the artist.


A week or so of  “TLC”, and the painting emerged in it’s newer frame and mount (both chosen to set off the painting suitably in terms of age and colours).
