Absolutely fascinating 1914 large colour chart mercantile marine map, showing mercanitle shipping routes in the North Atlantic as far south as Chimbote and Pernambuco on the S American continent, and Loanda in Africa. It shows Cables, Lighthouses, lightships, Consuls, Navigable waters, Canals, Steamship and mailship routes with fascinating readable distances. insets showing Ivory coast, Gold coast, Togo, Dahome, and Part of Nigeria, also inset showing part of : Senegal, Portuguese Guinea, French Guinea, Sierra leone and Liberia.


Good condition, blank reverse, & an ‘as published‘ central fold, it measures (framed) 31.5” wide (80cm) and 22” high (56cm). We have had it professionally framed in an elegant rubbed gilt frame. The chart is on very thick good quality card and now framed looks fabulous for any home or business wallspace. Stock No M00001 £sold
